Applications
Pulverisers are suitable for the pulverisation of semi-rigid, brittle and impact resistant materials where a powdered product is required.
Particles with a size of 6-8 mm are fed through a vibrating screen into a rotating high speed serrated disc to produce the required powder product in the 300-1000 micron range, the final size being determined by the adjustable disc spacing. Typically used to pulverise LDPE, HDPE, UPVC, PC and various other plastics.
Design
The PM300 shredder series is an ultra-high output unit that can be equipped with automatic temperature control. The material to be pulverised is fed centrally between the fixed and high-speed rotating pulverising discs, which have a centrifugal effect and allow the material to pass through the processing zone before being discharged pneumatically from the machine.

*Dosing channel/vibrating feeder

*Feeding is regulated and consumed by a high current controller (including mounting bracket and control unit) that monitors the motor of the pulveriser.
Pulverizer Housing
*Disc shredder with fixed and high-speed toothed discs with precision bearings.
*Material is fed through an opening in the centre of the fixed disc.
*The size of the particles depends on the surface structure of the teeth and the adjustable distance between the tooth discs. The cutting gap can be checked through an inspection hole in the housing. This makes it easy to make adjustments from outside the machine using a gap gauge. The machine operates without a screen.
*The machine housing is made of fracture-resistant welded steel. The hinged housing door with fixed tine discs opens to the side for cleaning and changing the tine discs.
*The grinding chamber is well designed with a small cross section and flat grinding discs mounted almost vertically.
*The material is clamped and reduced immediately after entering the grinding chamber.

* Specially designed disks and high peripheral running speeds ensure effective shock reduction at low power requirements.

Temperature Control
The enhanced cooling unit for automatic temperature control comprises nozzles for injecting cooling water, regulation controls, solenoid valves, thermostats, automatic control devices and material supply switches.
Drive And Mounting Frame
A flat steel structure is used to install the pulverizer and suction box. The drive motor includes "V" belt drive and belt guard. The frame is equipped with pre installed anti vibration pads.
Safety Devices
Integrated operational safety device to prevent entry until the rotor is completely stationary.
