Screen changers are manual or automatic switching devices consisting of one or more filters for filtering out foreign particles and impurities during the plasticized material flow filter. It is well known that the cleanliness of the recovered material and the technical use of the final recycled particles determine the technical standard of filtration of the filter system. For different melt filtration loads, conventional uninterrupted single plate double station or double piston double station screen changing filter systems are used to achieve excellent melt filtration performance.
The new SCF self-cleaning filtration system allows for uninterrupted cycle extrusion and is particularly suitable for re-granulation of highly contaminated materials.
Unlike conventional screen changers that require timely replacement of dirty wire screens, the SCF system will exhibit continuous filtration performance and automatically remove contaminants from the steel screen plate surface. It has the advantage of high automation and high volume production, which can increase the recovery rate of the recovered material and the slag discharge rate (the amount of slag discharged and the plastic content of the accompanying slag discharge process) can reach 1:1.

SCF Self-Cleaning Filtration System
The SCF has an effective accuracy of up to 120 mesh. With Aceretech SCF self-cleaning filters it is possible to produce pelletizing lines with an output of more than 1 ton per hour more efficiently.
The SCF filter system consists of a hardened steel screen plate, a rotating unit, a hydraulic section, contaminant removal vanes and a discharge screw.
SCF Filtration Systems
The SCF filtration system treats and removes up to 5% of contaminants from the melt flow, separating contaminants such as paper, wood, aluminum, unmelted plastics and rubber.
