Aceretech has recently installed an EPS HIPS pelletizer at CDMX with a capacity of 600-700 kg per hour, a good start for the Mexican market in 2022.
After visiting a customer in Mexico in 2016, we kept in touch for 5 years. The same customer used his trip to China to visit our Aceretech plant from time to time. We finally signed the EPS HIPS pelletizing project in the first few months of 2020.
The machine has a compactor, extruder 1, filter 1, extruder 2, filter 2, cutting head, and vibratory drying. Also called cascade, this configuration has 2 filters and 3 degassing (2 vacuum, 1 natural), it can handle contaminated materials and large amounts of printing ink or / or humidity.
The customer produces frames, molds, etc. (picture below). Since 2015, they have started to contribute to the circular economy.
With this pelletizer up and running, Marcos and Marcos can recycle 8 tons of material per day, or 2,500 tons per year. This is a big step towards neutral carbonates, as they can receive and recycle material from outside, in addition to their own waste.
The end product of the pelletizer is these pellets, which in turn are the raw materials that can be made into products.
Thanks to customers like Marcos and Marcos, Aceretech has gained a lot of experience in different plastic fields: PE, PP, EPS, HIPS, ABS, BOPET, PET, CPP, PVB, etc.
